Writing: We worked on Characters, settings and retell for this week. We read the book " mouse steal oil" , they draw pictures about the story, sing the song. We also sat in small group and talked about where this happened and who's in that story, sing the mouth song together. We will continue this and compare different characters and settings next week too. I shared ideas with Ms.Murphy, English class did same theme, but different activities.
Reading: Community words about community helpers and different working place. We practiced "What do you want your job to be?" Also they draw pictures and talked about different community helper.
Math: Review place value and started greater than, less than, equal. We sang the rhyme when we did comparing:" e yu e yu, wo e le. wo yao chi na ge da da de." （鳄鱼鳄鱼，我饿了。我要吃那个大大的。"It means alligator, alligator, I am hungry. I want to eat the bigger one.
Pack snack and water bottle every day:)
